Ahihi-Kina'u Natural Area Preserve, Makena, HI
The Ahihi-Kina'u Natural Area Preserve is the site of Maui's last lava flow, in 1790. Rugged terrain offers a unique and challenging hiking experience. Crystal clear water off the coast makes for excellent snorkling opportunities. No fishing or disturbing wildlife is allowed in this park.
