Anderson Marsh State Historic Park, , CA
Containing historic sites that date back 10,000 years, Anderson Marsh State Historic Park offers a range of educational and recreational facilities. The area was once home to a group of people known as the Southeastern Pomo. Today the 1,065-acre (431-ha) park contains woodlands, grassy areas and a marsh, giving many hiking, learning, birdwatching and picnicking opportunities.
