Beavertail Light, Jamestown, RI
Situated in Beavertail Park on Conanicut Island, the grounds of this lighthouse are open to the public and it also offers a museum in the assistant keeper's house. This lighthouse station was established in 1749, and the current building was erected in 1856. It is the third oldest lighthouse in the United States.
