Boone Hall Plantation, Mt. Pleasant, SC


Originally a cotton plantation of over 17,000 acres, Boone Hall Plantation has one of the most majestic avenues of moss-draped live oaks in the South, planted in 1743. Original plantation buildings include nine 18th century slave cabins, built of brick made on the plantation, and the Gin House, used for processing cotton.
