Boot Hill Museum, Dodge City, KS
Boot Hill was named after the practice of burying gunmen and loners shot on the spot with their boots on. Today, visitors can relive the exciting era of these lawless times in Dodge City by strolling through a historic cemetery, jail and Front Street in the 1870s replica. Stage couch rides, gun fight re-enactments and Mid-West entertainment can also be experienced during the summer months.
