Brown Chapel AME Church, Selma, AL
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Brown Chapel AME Church was the starting point for the Selma-to-Montgomery Marches in 1965, an iniative that led to the 1965 Voting Rights Act. The church was built in 1908 and features Romanesque Revival-style architecture.
