Byham Theater, Pittsburgh, PA


Byham Theater was originally built in 1903 and was called the Gayety Theater. As one of America's premier entertainment venues it played host to stars like Helen Hayes and Ethel Barymore. From the 1930s until 1999 it was know as the Fulton and was used as a movie house. Many of its original fixtures, such as the mosaic ceiling and copper cherubs, can still be seen from its location in Pittsburgh's Cultural District.
