Canon Theatre (formerly the Pantages Theatre), , Canada
Begun in 1920, the Canon Theatre began as a vaudville theatre and motion picture cinema. It became the first multiplex motion picture theatre in Canada in 1973 when it was split into 6 different show areas. It reversed back to a live theatre in 1989 after a heated battle between two cinema giants, and is still hosting productions today.
