Crimson Bluffs, Townsend, MT


The 50-acre Crimson Bluffs is a spectacular rock formation located above the Missouri River. The bluffs were noted by Lewis and Clark on their famed journey. The bluffs have changed little since that time, and are a major attraction in the Townsend area. The attractions is accessible by boat or on foot just off River Road.
