Erlander Home Museum, Rockford, IL


The Erlander Home Museum of Rockford was built in 1871 for a Swedish family. It contains 14 rooms, which are decorated with Rockford-made furniture and period home pieces. The Swedish Historical Museum is also located in the house, with many collections decorating the rooms and walls. People can tour the home Tuesday to Friday from 1pm to 4pm, Sundays from 2pm to 4pm or by appointment.
