Gainesville-Hawthorne State Trail
This recreational trail was designed for biking, hiking and horseback riding, and extends for 16 miles from Boulware Springs Park in Gainesville through Paynes Prairie and the Lochloosa Wildlife Management Area. The Boulware Speings trailhead is open from 8am-6pm from November through April and 8am-8pm from May through October.
