Green-Meldrim House, Savannah, GA


Built in the 1850s, the Green-Meldrim House is best known for the fact that it served as General William Tecumseh Sherman's headquarters towards the end of the Civil War. The house remains a great example of Gothic Revival architecture. It is open to the public for touring Tuesdays, as well as Thursday through Saturday.
