Hildene, Manchester, VT
This historic home outside of Manchester, VT, was built by Robert Todd Lincoln, son of President Lincoln, as a summer home. It eventually became the only house occupied by all of Abraham Lincoln's descendents. Until 1975, the home was occupied by a great-grandaughter of Abraham Lincoln. The stately home, set on many acres, with large formal gardens, has been taken over by the Friends of Hildene. Tours are available.
