Icarian Living History Museum, Nauvoo, IL
The Icarian Living History Museum is a tribute to a small group of Frenchmen who arrived in Illinois in 1849. Known as the Icarians, these Frenchmen were the first to introduce grapes to the area and opened one of Illinois' first winery. This museum is open to the public daily.
