The building housing the Jewish Museum of Florida, originally, was the first synagogue of the first Jewish congregation in Miami Beach. Extensively renovated and restored today it serves a cultural focus for the Jewish community. The museum mounts exhibitions, houses a collections and research center and communicated Jewish values and history to the public.
