John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, Kimberly, OR


This 14,000 acre park includes volcanic deposits in the scenic John Day River basin providing a fossil record of plants and animals. The Thomas Condon Paleontology Center is open daily from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
