Lake Champlain, , VT


Situated between upper New York State and Vermont, Lake Champlain was the site of a number of conflicts between the early 1600s and the early 1800s, namely between the expanding empires of Britain and France. Today, visitors travel to Lake Champlain for its many recreational opportunities, including fishing, swimming, sailing and scuba diving.
