Lake Cumberland, , KY


An artificial lake situated in southern Kentucky, Lake Cumberland was created by the construction of the Wolf Creek Dam in 1950. The Lake boasts 1,225 mi (1971 km) of shoreline and is recognized as one of the best boating and fishing areas in the eastern United States. Cumberland State Resort Park features a number of outdoor pursuits, including golfing, hiking, horseback riding and camping.
