Lake Erie, , MI
Lake Erie is the smallest of the Great Lakes in volume and spans 241 mi (388 km) across and 57 mi (92 km) from north to south. The depth of the lake is approximately 62 feet, allowing it to heat up in the summer and freeze in the winter. Cleveland, Ohio, Buffalo, New York and Windsor, Ontario, are just a few of the cities that are found on the shores of Lake Erie.
