Lake Winnebago, , WI
Encompassing 137,000 acres of land, Lake Winnebago is a popular fishing area in eastern Wisconsin. Measuring 28 mi (50 km) by 10.5 mi (17 km), the lake is remarkable shallow. It is the largest lake in Wisconsin, feeding off the Fox River. The communities surrounding it, such as Oshkosh and Fond du Lac, are popular recreation areas for residents and tourists alike.
