Mabel Lake Provincial Park, Vernon, Canada


Mabel Lake Provincial Park is worth the 60km (37mi) drive from Vernon with a pristine lake and towering mountains. Off the main road, this park is usually quiet but is complete with many amenities including, but not limited to, camping (with bathrooms and running water), playground, swimming, boat launch, biking and hiking trails. The area teems with wildlife, from birds to deer (and sometimes bears), and offers great rainbow trout fishing.
