Monument Park, Savanna, IL
Located at the north end of Savanna's Main Street, Monument Park remembers the early days of the town. A monument stands on the site where the first white settlers, the Pierce family, erected a tepee to live in. Interpretive signs can be found, explaining the history of the area.
