Newport State Park, Ellison Bay, WI
This is Wisconsin's only officially designated wilderness park. It features 30 miles (48 km) of hiking trails, 12.5 miles (20 km) of groomed cross-country ski trails, a nature centre, 11 miles (17 km) of Lake Michigan shoreline and 16 backpack only campsites.
