Nichols Covered Bridge, South Haven, MI

The Donald F. Nichols Bridge is a highlight of the Kal-Haven Trail Linear State Park, which extends from Kalamazoo to South Haven. The bridge is easily accessible because it crosses the south branch of the Black River just one mile east of the South Haven trailhead and one-half mile east of the Blue Star Highway. Robert Nichols donated the materials in 1988 to convert an existing railroad trestle bridge into a covered bridge in memory of his late father
