Old State Capitol Center, St. Bernard, LA
At the Old State Capitol Center, there are several permanent exhibits, including Louisiana: The Story is Here, the Huey Long Assassination Exhibit, the Mercy Train and the Louisiana Purchase Exhibit. The stunning building is also known for its architecture. Visitors enjoy cast iron staircase, stained glass cathedral dome and the Victorian and Gothic architecture.
