Olympic Basin, Montreal, Canada


This man-made body of water was created especially for the 1976 summer Olympics. Measuring 2.2 km (1.4 mi) in length, the basin hosts a number of events and competitions each year including rowing, canoeing, kayaking and dragon boat races.
