The Petes got their start as a farm team for the Montreal Canadiens in 1956 and have since gone on to become a well-renowned OHL team. Situated in Peterborough, which is known as a virtual assembly line for Hockey Players, the team boasts a number of alumni who have enjoyed successful careers in the NHL, including Steve Yzerman and Tie Domi.
