Petersen Rock Gardens, Redmond, OR


Petersen Rock Gardens contains a collection of rocks that have been transformed into castles, statues, houses and much more. One of the replicas is a mini-Statue of Liberty. All of the pieces were built between 1935 and 1955 by a local farmer. The rock gardens are located roughly 10 mi (16 km) south of Redmond and are open daily to the public.
