Postville Courthouse, Lincoln, IL
The Postville Courthouse in Lincoln is a replicate of the original building from 1840. The one seen today was built in 1953 on the same spot that the old structure was on. The first courthouse was bought by automobile titan Henry Ford in 1929 for a memorial he was building in Dearborn, MI. The new Postville Courthouse is decorated to represent how the courtroom may have looked in the 1840s and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm to 5pm.
