Qaummaarviit Territorial Historic Park
This island park is located approximately 12km from Iqaluit. The area was once home to the Thule People, and the remains of their sod houses, as well as numerous other artifacts, are still around for visitors to explore. A Qaummaarviit Park guidebook is available at the Unikkaarvik Visitor Centre, and it will help point out the significant sites.
