R.C.M.P. National Heritage Centre, , Canada


This is the training academy for Canada's world-renowned 'Mounties.' It is possible to see the recruits in the Sergeant Major's Parade. It is also the official museum of the force and contains many exhibits dealing with the history of the R.C.M.P. There are many artifacts and photos and various memorabilia, including a uniform and weapons collection.Open year-round: June 1 to September 15, daily 8am - 6:45 pm, September 16 to May 31, daily 10am - 4:45 pm. Chapel open periodically Saturday and Sunday. Tours: Monday to Friday at 9am (summer only), 10am, and 11am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.
