Reddick Mansion, Ottawa, IL
Reddick Mansion is one of Ottawa's premiere tourist draws. The home was constructed prior to the Civil War and is thought to be one of the most expensive homes ever built in Midwestern United State. It was also a stop for the Underground Railroad. Tours of the home are offered daily for visitors to admire the ornate fixings of the Italianate mansion.
