San Jose Church, San Juan, Caribbean
The first church built on the island, dating back to the 1530s, is one of the oldest churches in the Western hemisphere, and one of the few Gothic churches in the New World. Originally a Dominican monastery dedicated to Saint Thomas Aquinas.
