Sandisfield State Forest, Sandisfield, MA
Three hundred-acre York Lake is situated within this state forest, and is a popular day use area featuring a sandy beach, picnic facilities and a boat launch. All the lakes in this park are stocked with trout, and are sought by anglers from non-motorized watercraft. Hiking, horseback riding, cross country skiing and snowmobiling are also popular activities depending on the season.
