Step in the tracks of French explorer Samuel de Champlain or residents of a historic Huron village at this nature reserve. Collingwood Scenic Caves is situated at Blue Mountain, on the highest part of the Niagara Escarpment. The caves are millions of years old. The interiors are absorbing, and contain many rare and exotic plants. The caves are is open early May to late October. The site is also home to Ontario's longest suspension footbridge and an exhilarating treetop walk.
