Serpent Mounds Park, , Canada
Overlooking Rice Lake, near the village of Keene and 30 kms from Peterborough, outdoor enthusiasts can combine the camping experience with some historic sightseeing. The Hiawatha First Nations own the site, including the nine burial mounds. The largest mound has a serpentine appearance and is unique in Canada. Day users are welcome.
