Shrine of Notre-Dame-du-Cap, Trois-Rivieres, Canada
This historic site, known as the Old Shrine, is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and began as a parish church in 1720. Over the years, a Small Shine and Basilica were added and these along with its gardens and location next to the St. Lawrence River, have made the Shrine of Notre-Dame-du-Cap a destination for both tourists and pilgrims. It has a gift shop that is open daily and a cafeteria that is open from May until mid-October.
