Shubert Performing Arts Center, New Haven, CT


This famous theater, known as 'The Birthplace of The Nation's Greatest Hits,' has witnessed the premiers of over 200 plays - some of which have gone to be Broadway hits, including 'The Sound of Music,' 'The King and I' and 'Long Day's Journey into Night.' The Shubert also stages classical music concerts and ballet. Saved from the wrecking ball, the Shubert has now been beatifully refurbished in its original 1914 decor, but with state of the art sound and lighting systems.
