Silver Lake State Park, Mears, MI
Silver Lake State Park is a 3000-acre park in Oceana County that borders on Lake Michigan. This area includes dune country and mature forest. The dune ridges and valleys are mostly windblown sand and lack trees, scrub brush, and dune grass. The dune area is sometimes compared to a desert. Park features include, hunting, swimming, fishing, picnicking, hiking, boating, a lighthouse, off-road routes, and much more.
