SolVista Basin at Granby Ranch, Granby, CO
SolVista Basin at Granby Ranch is a smaller ski area compared to other resorts in the Northern Rockie. Catering to beginners and advanced skiers, the hill offers a range of facilities, including 33 trails, five chair lifts and several snow making machines. 30 per cent of the runs are targeted to beginners, 50 per cent to intermediates and 20 per cent to advanced skiers. SolVista has a vertical drop of 1,000 ft (300 m) and its longest run is 1.5 mi (2.4 km). Lessons and rental services for both skiing and snowboarding are found on-site. The season runs from the middle of December through to the end of March.
