Swiss Historical Village, New Glarus, WI


Commemorating pioneer life in New Glarus, Swiss Historical Village features 13 buildings, including an authentic 1855 log home, an 1890 cheese factory and a print shop. The Swiss Historical Village was founded in 1942 and features continuous tours by local guides that are knowledgable about the history of New Glarus. Historical archives and genealogical information are also found at this attraction.
