The McConnell Mansion Museum, Moscow, ID


The McConnell Mansion, built in 1886, belonged to William J. McConnell, also known as the Merchant Prince of Idaho. After McConnell lost his money in the depression of 1893, the house was purchased by a doctor and later sold to a medieval history professor before becoming a museum and meeting place in 1966. The mansion features a restored first floor and hands on artifacts.
