Union Station, Nashville, TN
Opened in 1900 as the central station for Louisville, Nashville and St. Louis railroad lines, historic Union Station sported two alligator ponds and a statue of Mercury high atop the 222 foot tower. the station has since been converted to an elegant hotel.
