Vallecito Lake
Surrounded by Weminuche Wilderness and the San Juan National Forest, this high-altitude lake is located just north of the town of Bayfield and 23 miles (37 km) northeast of Durango. This tourist destination point offers fishing, boating and multiple lodging options.
