Van Egmond House, , Canada
Situated by the Bayfield River in Egmondville, this mid-nineteenth century home has been preserved to its original grandeur. It was the Georgian home of Van Egmond family who played a key role in opening the Huron Tract, land owned by the Canada Company. The manor is the oldest house in Huron County. Van Egmond Home is open on Saturdays and Sundays during the months of July and August, or by appoinment.
