Founded in 1958, the Vancouver Opera had its first production in 1960. Today it is the third largest opera company in Canada. Each season traditional favourites and comtemporary pieces are performed, including Carmen, The Marriage of Fiargo, Of Mice and Men and many others. Productions take place at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
