Walker Tavern Historic Complex, Cambridge Junction, MI
Between 1836 and 1855, Walker Tavern was frequented by stagecoach travelers going between Detroit and Chicago. Today visitors can explore the grounds, which contain a barn with exhibits, historic equipment and picnicking areas. Inside the house is a 1840s-style tavern, bar, dining rooms and kitchen, all furnished in period antiques. The historic complex is open from late May until early September, Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
