White River Provincial Park, Sayward, Canada
Dubbed the Cathedral Grove of the North Island because of its Douglas fir and western red cedar trees, White River Provincial Park was the setting for parts of the film the Scarlet Letter. Visitors to the area, which is an important habitat for black bears, may enjoy fishing in the White River and hunting in designated areas.
