Wood Carvings, Hope, Canada

Deemed by many as the Chainsaw Carving Capital, Hope displays an array of chainsaw wood carvings throughout the town. It all began when a tree in Memorial Park was to be pulled down due to root rot. A large stump was left so a carving could be made of a 12 foot eagle. Because of its popularity, the number of carvings continue to grow, adding to Hope's character.
