Yale University

This is one of the most eminent Ivy League universities. The institution dates from 1701 and buildings still stand from the mid-1700s including Connecticut Hall built in 1752. Many of these buildings are indeed covered in ivy. The much more recent, but equally impressive, Payne Whitney Gymnasium is one of the largest sports training buildings in the world. Yale has an array of libraries and art collections and guided tours of the campus are available.
